Design e2

To be honest I don’t really watch a lot of television beyond major sporting events and the news. However, the other night I watched an interesting show on PBS and I was immediately hooked.

 

E² is an ongoing documentary series about solutions to prescient environmental challenges. Comprised of eighteen half-hour episodes, the series covers topics including design, energy, water, food, transportation and places around the world.

 

E² features the thought leaders, innovators and inventors who are catalysts for positive change in the relationships between humans and the environment.

 

Finally something I can watch without polluting my brain with reality television. I immediately checked out the podcasts at http://www.design-e2.com/. One episode that I found interesting was about harvesting the wind. It gave me a much better understand as to what is involved in terms of production, engineering and sustainability.
